Mission Statement
Welcome to Logic Fails Studios. We are a company—a group of friends really—who have come together to produce what we hope will be an entertaining and humorous online experience. We currently have two up and coming web comics and are looking towards the future with anticipation and hope. We are excited about the opportunity to eventually work on graphic novels, and other more in-depth online experiences.
However, Logic Fails is not solely dedicated to the creation of comics, we look to not only deliver entertainment to our fans, but also to provide creative solutions for our clients.
Interested in having us create a design for a t-shirt or apparel line? Or perhaps your business needs a new logo and or slogan? Contact our creative director at dstart@logicfails.com for a creative consult or list of services.

My name is David Start, and I am the founder and Creative Director of Logic Fails Studios. As the other guys will soon show you, I’ve managed to gather a group of lecherous minions interested in only debauchery. Luckily for me they’re all great guys at heart, and put out really solid, incredibly entertaining work and new ideas. From the best souls come the darkest things…
As for myself, I graduated with a degree in English from UCF, and have since done nothing but dream about what I want to be doing. One day I woke up and decided it was time to start doing, so here we are.
I’m a reader and a dreamer, and I make very silly, sometimes incredibly inappropriate jokes. Hope you enjoy reading them. And if you don’t…well, read them anyway.
My name is Ryan Mayr, and I’m awesome. One day you will realize this in its entirety, and you will cry. Great big tears. Great big blue tears, of the purest blue, like the ocean on a sunny day...in the Bahamas.
I graduated with a degree in Computer Engineering from UCF in August 2008 and I am currently seeking opportunities pertaining to my field of study. In January 2009, I was drafted into Logic Fails Studios and have since become the website developer and administrator.
I’ve been working on the Logic Fails website and anything at all to do with technology since Dave got this fancy idea into his head. Apparently, having a degree in engineering means I’m good with anything technology related. I’ll be the guy behind all the new developments in the online experience, and as soon as this website's kinks and bugs are all worked out, I’ll be moving on to Flash and the opportunities there.
Hi, I’m Nathaniel Terhune, I’m one of the Senior Lead Artists at Logic Fails and half the time I’m slightly intoxicated. BUT UNDERSTAND, I DO IT BECAUSE I LIKE IT, YOU DO IT BECAUSE YOU HAVE PROBLEMS.
On to bigger and better things…I am currently a student at Valencia Community College, finishing up my AA. I have been drawing since I was 12 and recently was forced into illustrating and the use of Adobe Illustrator by Dave and his lackeys. I think I’ve improved a whole lot as an artist and am looking forward to the projects that are ahead of me. And remember kids, drunk drawing isn’t safe, but it’s hella’ interesting. No seriously don’t drink. On Sundays. Unless you’re watching football. Or you’re bored. Or it’s Sunday.

My name is Jonathan Hugo Hunte and I am one of the Lead Artists at Logic Fails, I am 23 years old and I’m an art education major at UCF. School has been the most pointless, time consuming, money wasting, endeavor of my life. I thought about being an art teacher, but have looked towards my own work and projects instead. I hope to eventually be a professional artists/actor.
My inspirations are Fragonard, Humberto Ramos, grape juice, David Start and the rest of the Logic Fails crew. Especially on Gay Wednesdays.
If I’m not successful at doing what I love, I look forward to a life of nude homelessness.
